Description.

STOA designed the FISD Meadows Elementary School Extended Day Facility to provide a flexible, nurturing environment that supports after-school learning, recreation, and community engagement within a safe and modern setting.

The Meadows Elementary School Extended Day Facility, designed by STOA Architects for the Fort Bend Independent School District (FBISD), expands educational opportunities through a new 2,975-square-foot addition and a 738-square-foot renovation within the existing school. The project enhances early childhood education by providing a nurturing, functional, and adaptable environment that supports holistic development. Integrating the new and existing spaces ensures seamless flow, improved accessibility, and modernized facilities. With thoughtful spatial planning, abundant natural light, and vibrant interiors, the design fosters a sense of belonging and creativity. This facility exemplifies FBISD’s commitment to shaping positive early learning experiences that build a foundation for lifelong success.
