STOA, in close collaboration with the Alief Independent School District, proudly undertook the vital task of enhancing safety and security within Houston’s schools. With a keen focus on safeguarding students and staff, our team was tasked with upgrading the safety and security systems, providing about 70 new cross-corridor doors, 26 secured Cafeteria walls, and about 173 improved access control and exit devices across 36 school facilities. These enhancements, tailored for their early childhood and K-12 facilities, have been designed with cutting-edge principles and technology to fortify safety protocols. Through this collaborative effort, we have reinforced the district’s commitment to creating safe, nurturing spaces for learning and growth, safeguarding the future of education in the community.
